Module I: e-Masjid Control Systems

e-Masjid Control Systems allow the automation of mosques from a variety of interfaces. With this highly customizable system you can:

• Zone the climate control system to ensure that it is used efficiently in the most used areas during the week.
• Have detectors that automatically brighten the lights as and when areas are used for salat.
• Save energy by using scheduling to control lights and climate control at peak times.
• Control a variety of appliances such as fans, water heaters and curtains either automatically or from an elegant range of LCD switches.
• Light level sensors can be used to illuminate the mosque at sunset and switch the lights off at dawn.

Module II: e-Masjid Security

e-Masjid Security is a flexible and powerful system that can work in conjunction with e-Masjid Control Systems. Advantages of our system include:

• Access control systems to preserve privacy in the imam’s quarters.
• Stream live video of the Khutba to the ladies prayer room and over the Internet.
• Link heat detectors to fire alarm systems in service areas.
• Send SMS reminders to the imam and muezzin to prepare for salat before the Athan begins.
• Automatically lock the main doors after worshippers have left from Isha'a prayers and open them again before Fajr prayers begin.
• Integrates with e-Masjid Management System software and hardware for total control.

Module III: e-Masjid Motorized Curtains and Blinds

e-Masjid Motorized Curtains and Blinds are bespoke, made-to-order and we are able to provide automation for virtually any blind or window treatment. Benefits of using our range of Motorized Curtains and Blinds include:

• Protect valuable carpets from damaging sunlight.
• Reduce the need for air conditioning by having curtains or blinds close automatically during the day.
• Control automated awnings for outdoor use when the mosque is full.
• Reduce sunlight that might disturb worshippers from prayer at certain times of day.

Module IV: e-Masjid Digital Media

e-Masjid Digital Media is an advanced range of systems that enables worshippers to maximize their experience and focus on prayer. It allows connection of the community to the outside world and also allows the community to connect with the Holy Mosques.

• Stream live high quality digital video of the Khutba to the ladies prayer room, the community and to government departments.
• Distribute live video feeds from Makkah and Madina to LCD screens within the mosque.
• Use centralized digital signage to display supplications and quotations from the Holy Qur’an.
• Provide the imam with control of a Digital Qur’an so worshippers can read for Salat Tarawih-Ramadan.
• Our technology partners for Digital Media include Intel, Microsoft and Opus Technologies.

Module V: e-Masjid Management Systems

Developed by e-Home AUTOMATION, together with our partners, e-Masjid Management Systems are designed to provide services to the local community and are based on the successful deployment of e-Masjid technologies at the AlJaziri Mosque in Dubai - the first e-mosque in the world.

• Have Islamic e-books available in an “e-library” in the mosque.
• Link the Athan to the local community, starting simultaneously in both the mosque and also in villas and apartments
• Calculate and display the next prayer time in the mosque using centralized digital signage.
• Store the weekly Khutba in a central location which can be accessed and viewed by the community residents over the Internet.
